Hot meals for IDPs

As part of the #EmergencyAppeal23 project, Caritas Poltava has the opportunity to provide free hot lunches to the most vulnerable categories of IDPs.

In crisis situations, we must, first of all, satisfy the basic physiological needs of a person: feed, shelter, give a sense of security. And only then can we take care of her social and psychological needs.

According to the EmergencyAppeal23 project to support internally displaced persons in 2023, hot complex meals for IDPs are provided.

Internally displaced persons can have lunch for free by contacting the address of st. Pylypa Orlyka 20\1.

Hot lunch consists of:

• first course (soup),
• second course with meat,
• vegetable salad,
• bread,
• tea or coffee.

More than 90 displaced people are served with free lunches every day. Every time the number of those interested increases. Our girls make sure that the menu is as diverse as possible.

The procedure for obtaining the service is simple, so we invite IDPs to apply for vouchers and receive free hot lunches.
