Great good deeds. The story of a woman from Severodonetsk
The full-scale invasion of Russia forced many Ukrainians to leave their homes. Forced relocation is very difficult not only physically, but also psychologically. Caritas Poltava helps IDPs adapt to the new realities of life.
Yulia from Severodonetsk, like several thousand similar people, left her hometown after her house was destroyed by an enemy rocket. Leaving the city for Yulia meant leaving everything.
The story of our acquaintance began at the humanitarian office in late autumn, when a woman came for food and hygiene kits. It immediately became clear that she has a group of disabilities and is carrying a child under her heart.
Every day, a woman covered the path between Poltava microdistricts in a thin jacket to receive a comprehensive hot lunch from Caritas Poltava.
It was immediately obvious that she needed help and support, so we could not stand aside.
