“Education in emergency situations”. Young naturalists

This week, the children of the “Education in Emergency Situations” project visited the Poltava Regional Ecological and Naturalist Youth Center, where they got to know animals and fish with the help of qualified tour guides.

The project “Education in emergency situations” introduces children to various spheres of life. Since spring has already begun, getting to know nature is very important. So the teachers of Caritas Poltava organized a small trip for the children to the Regional Station of Young Naturalists.

During the excursion, the children visited different corners of the natural institution: they visited a small zoo located in the yard, they visited a corner with exotic rodents, they visited a room with aquariums, they got to know the residents of the ornithological center.

15 species of animals and birds for agricultural and decorative purposes live here. Many species and varieties of cultivated and wild plants have been collected on the research plot. But the children liked the zoo and aquariums the most.

Tired but happy, the children shared their impressions with each other after visiting the eco-center. Such events bring children together and help them to open up more.
