The work of the Caritas Poltava crisis center

Caritas Poltava, as part of the NIN project “Humanitarian protection of people affected by the conflict in Ukraine” with the support of partners Caritas Österreich and NACHBAR IN NOT, operates a crisis center for vulnerable population groups in a crisis situation in the city of Poltava.

We provide complex consulting and coordination

Free consultations:

✅Psychologist for adults

Experienced psychologists will provide individual and group support, helping to overcome emotional difficulties and strengthen psychological resilience.

✅Psychologist for children

Children have the opportunity to improve their psycho-emotional state thanks to individual and group counseling.

✅ Legal consultation

Lawyers of the center provide legal advice and support regarding the restoration of documents, protection of citizens’ rights, as well as current changes in legislation. And they can also receive services for drafting applications, complaints and documents of a procedural nature.

✅ Children’s center

Children have the opportunity to receive full-fledged social and educational services during the martial law in Ukraine. Classes are held in art therapy, play therapy, etc.

✅Social support for IDPs who moved to Poltava and Poltava region after 24.02.2022.

Social adaptation, vocational training and education services will be provided to help find new opportunities and transition to independent living.
