Dance and movement therapy

Recently, Caritas Poltava held a dance class for IDP children. Dances for all ages contribute to physical development, psychological relaxation and good mood.

Although there are many ways to move the body, dancing is perhaps one of the most recommended activities because the practice blends the physical with the emotional.

Dance releases energy and emotions, fuels expression and creativity, and promotes coordination

Thanks to the event, IDP children learned to perceive their bodies using means of musical expressiveness (rhythm, tempo, dynamics). Together with the teacher, they moved rhythmically in accordance with the general nature of the music and enjoyed the process.
