Household kits for IDPs

Caritas Poltava provided household kits to IDPs who arrived from Kharkiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast and Luhansk Oblast to improve their living conditions in their new places.

IDPs who were forced to leave their homes are often unable to purchase basic items with personal funds. For example, a large number of IDPs faced the problem of a lack of dishes and bedding in the rented and temporary housing where they found shelter.

Therefore, recently, with the support of ADA, Caritas Poltava started issuing household kits as part of the project “Emergency response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine”.

The household set includes:

  • a blanket;
  • bed linen;
  • a towel;
  • kitchen utensils (saucepan,pan, knife).

IDP families with many children can become the owners of such necessary sets.

About 60 families have already received a home in the form of non-food items!

Issuance continues, so families who have not yet had time to register and receive household kits can contact our office at: Poltava, str. Pylypa Orlyka, 20\1.
