Food kits for IDPs 65+

From February 20, Caritas Poltava organized the distribution of food kits for internally displaced persons aged 65+.

With the support of partners, the Starenki charity fund, the Caritas Poltava humanitarian office has been distributing food kits for the elderly for a week.

The category of vulnerability was not chosen by chance, because in terms of number, this is the largest segment of IDPs who ended up in the territory of Poltava Oblast due to hostilities. During the war, lonely elderly people need help more than ever. After all, they lived their lives for the sake of the future generation and deserve our respect, support and real help.

IDPs who are officially registered as IDPs in the social security administration and who have never received a humanitarian kit from our charity fund can receive kits (or, if they did, more than 3 months have passed).

In one package – cereals and pasta, sugar, canned goods, etc. Everything that may be needed for a long period.

It is important to have the following documents with you:

  • an identity document;
  • a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person;
  • identification code;
  • pension certificate.

The set is received at the humanitarian office of Caritas Poltava, where preliminary registration is carried out, at the address: Poltava, str. Pylypa Orlyka 20\1.
