Emergency medical care

Representatives of the Guardians of Life organization conducted training on stopping massive and non-massive bleeding for Caritas Poltava employees.

The full-scale war ongoing in Ukraine makes it necessary to have the skills to provide high-quality pre-medical care.

With this in mind, representatives of the “Guardians of Life” organization, and Varvyanska Svitlana personally, conducted a training for employees of the “Caritas Poltava” charitable foundation on providing emergency medical care.

In particular, the topic of stopping non-massive and massive bleeding was considered.

During the master class, the participants mastered the theoretical part of determining the condition of the victim, assessing the bleeding itself, and the algorithm of actions to stop it.

We got acquainted with turnstiles of various manufactures, as well as with the methods of their use.

They also considered stopping bleeding using a pressure bandage (Israeli bandage) and had the opportunity to consolidate the knowledge gained in practice, both on themselves and on others.
