A sports and family event took place in Poltava

On the eve of Children’s Day, a big sports event was held for children and parents of all the projects of the children’s direction of Caritas Poltava. The main goal of this event is to draw attention to the protection of children’s rights, as well as to increase the significance of the role of the family in society.

Sports and entertainment events for children and their parents were held in the Poltava Victory Park with the support of the Sports Committee of Ukraine and the Poltava Regional Council.

Visitors to the park took part in various competitions during which the most skillful and dexterous performers of tasks were determined.

All volunteers took part in ice hockey, frisbee, hoop twirling and bag jumping. Adults also had the opportunity to cheer on the participants of the beach volleyball mini-tournament.

The winners of competitions and contests were awarded diplomas of Ukraine Kids Games, and the most active participants of the sports festival received cups and sweets. Combining sports, entertainment, and healthy competition, the holiday has become one of the favorites for children and adults. After all, the family does not often have the opportunity to spend time together, to compete in a friendly manner and to feel like a single team.

Sports, entertainment, healthy competition – all this created a special family atmosphere, because behind the daily chores, the family does not often have the opportunity to spend time together, compete friendly and feel like a single team.
