Self-defense training from the Military Sports Center “Warrior”

The project “Education in emergency situations” includes the basics of socialization and adaptation to life. Self-defense training from the “Warrior” Military Sports Center helped young people master the skills and methods of responding in critical situations.

To reduce the risks of encountering a life-threatening situation, to learn to assess the level of threat and to act correctly during an armed attack – the goal of this extremely useful master class from VSC “Warrior”. The training was conducted by instructors Mykyta Shamota and Artemiy Marienko for IDP children at the invitation of the Caritas Poltava charitable foundation.

First, the instructors gave an instruction on the safety rules, then distributed the equipment and began to teach techniques. Everyone had the opportunity to practice self-defense methods for speed and dexterity.

Experienced trainers, taking into account individual characteristics, talked about all the details and helped the children to get used to it quickly and get maximum pleasure from the training.

Self-defense skills became a useful experience for them, and concentration on the process improved their stability and endurance in unexpected life situations.

The master class helped children learn safe and reflexive behavior in extreme conditions, improved fortitude and organized thoughts. A good mood accompanied all participants during the class.

We thank our partners Bright Kids Charity and Street Child for the opportunity to implement the “Education in Emergency Situations” project, and we also express our sincere gratitude to the Military Sports Center for conducting the training.
